New Strandwood PTA Website and Email Addresses!

Did you know that Strandwood has a PTA website that is separate from the school website?

StrandwoodPTA.org, formerly strandwood.org, houses PTA-related information regarding the current board, PTA programs and sponsored events. Interested in finding out about this year's Nutcracker performance or the Dinner Dance Auction? Check the site!

Need a new Read and Dream log? Want to register for a PTA-sponsored after school program? Downloadable forms and flyers are just a click away!

You can even view PTA balance sheets, read meeting minutes, check the calendar and find archived editions of the Roadrunner. All of this and more can be found at www.StrandwoodPTA.org.

Fall Fest Spiritwear Orders Due Friday!

Pre-order your Fall Fest Spiritwear! All pre-orders must be received with payment by October 3rd.

Join the After School Band!

4th Graders Wanted!

Is your 4th grader interested in learning how to play a musical instrument?

After School Band begins Tuesday, October 7th, from 2:50pm-3:50pm. Classes are every Tuesday through June 2, 2015 and will include at least 1 concert in which the students will play.

You can learn to play a flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet or the drums! band class

The cost is $325 for 30 sessions (just $10.83 a class). It's a steal!

Classes are taught by Robin Eig, owner of Rockin' Robbie's East Bay Music - the premier music store in the East Bay. Robin has taught at Strandwood for the past 3 years. As a professional musician and Elementary School and High School Band Director, Robin knows how to teach every child how to play and love music.

Fall Fundraiser Ends Monday! Get Your Prizes!

You have 4 more days to sell the wonderful Fall Fundraiser items to friends and family! The fundraiser, which includes the Believe catalog and Otis Spunkmeyer items, closes October 6th. The PTA door is open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school to turn in your tickets for charm necklaces! Don't forget, every student who sells 2 items is entitled to a blue slip x5!!! Stop on by to guess the amount of M&Ms in the jar to have your chance of winning a $20 gift card to Target! Hurry! Hurry!
