The First Tee - GOLF

The much anticipated and requested after-school program is finally here at Strandwood for only $80 / participant! Take advantage of this well know curriculum-based golf program that has typically only been offered at various golf course in the area. If your child is interested in learning to play golf and you are interested in your child learning respect, self-discipline and more, sign up before the first session on Tuesday 9/9/14! Information follows:

 

• Open to all grade levels at this time!
• Every Tuesday after school - 3pm to 4pm
• Located on the Strandwood Field / lawn area
• Fall session runs 9/9 to 10/28

1on1 Hoops - BASKETBALL

This successful after-school program is back for the Fall and starts Thursday 9/11. If you want an after-school program that will keep your child active while learning the fundamentals of basketball, sign them up ASAP. Program Info:

• Open to 1st through 5th grade
• Every Thursday from 3pm - 4pm
• Located on the Strandwood Bball Courts (upper grade playground)
• Fall session runs 9/11-12/4

After-School Program Cancelled: Gardens for Growth

Unfortunately this new and exciting after-school program is cancelled for the Fall due to construction going on around the school garden area. Please be on the lookout for information regarding this great after-school program in the Spring. We hope to offer it then assuming the construction is complete and the garden area is accessible.
