Jamba Juice at Open House Tonight!

Jamba Juice will be on campus at the front of the school for Open House starting at 7 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will go to Outdoor Education. Snacks will also be for sale.

Sign our Distinguished School Banner Tonight at Open House!

Congratulate Strandwood on being named a California Distinguished School! A banner celebrating our Strandwood Community is hanging near our distinguished school plaque on the front of the school. Please stop by to sign the banner and offer your congratulations to the Strandwood Staff!

Recycling Totals

Congratulations to Mrs. Dajani & Mrs. Anderson's classes as they are the winners of the May Ice-Cream Buddy parties; together they collected a total of 3709 bottles and cans. Mrs. Rowe's class is the winner of the Recycle Trophy for the collection date of May 30th with a total of 2264 bottles and cans!! Mrs. Rowe and Ms. Bittner's class also had a combined total of 3517 bottles and cans for second place all around. Keep saving and collecting those bottles and cans during the summer! We will be back next year with more competitions.

Two More Days of Penny Wars!

Two more days to bring in your pennies! Pennies are like "points" and should be put in students' class buckets in the MUR. Other coins (nickels, dimes, etc.) act as "negative points" and should be put in OTHER grade levels' buckets. This is where the "war" comes in! Dump cash other than pennies (can even be dollars!) into class buckets to knock them down a rung or two and dump as many pennies in your OWN class bucket to climb ahead!
