4th Grade Walk-A-Thon
May 21, 2014

 

The Annual 4th grade Walk-A-Thon is happening after school on Wednesday, May 21st. 4th grade students will be walking as many laps as they can between 1:00 - 2:00. Their efforts will help to raise funds for their Outdoor Ed experience as 5th graders. You can help support these students in a few ways: personally pledge a 4th grade student, give a donation directly to the Walk-A-Thon, and/or come out and cheer these students on during the Walk-A-Thon event!

This is the last chance for prizes for the 2013-2014 school year.

They submitted 1153 Box Tops this school year and have won an ice cream party for their class!

Awesome job!!

 Jump Start Day Volunteers Needed

As we wind down the 2013-2014 school year, preparations are underway for Jump Start Day 2014! Many volunteers are needed for this important day held at the end of August, and we can use your help. Interested volunteers can contact Joscelyn Willett at vpcomm@strandwood.org or Laura Cutiletta at avpcomm@strandwood.org. Thank you in advance!

Attention all 5th grade families!

Thanks to the idea of a group of parents, the support of our incredible principal, Liz Kim, and wonderful teachers & staff, we are excited to announce the 5th Grade Social! 

 

WHAT: 5th Grade Social

WHEN: Friday, June 6th, 7:00pm - 9:00pm

WHERE: Strandwood MUR

WHY: It's time for our 5th graders and their parents to come together as a community to celebrate before they move on to middle school.

All 5th graders are invited and at least one parent is required to attend (although both are encouraged to come!). No siblings please - this celebration is for 5th graders and their parents only. The evening will be a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our years at Strandwood...yearbooks will be handed out, yummy desserts will be shared, and more!
