After School SPORTS Programs Starting Next Week!

Join ONE on ONE BASKETBALL for After School Hoops at Strandwood Elementary School. Throughout the spring, skilled and experienced basketball instructors will conduct a one hour clinic, once a week, for you and your friends. These clinics will help you become a better basketball player through drills, contests, and game competition.

Day: Tuesdays after school

Dates: 4/8 - 6/3 (8 weeks)

Cost: $95 for 8 weeks

 

 

Does your child love football? Do they want to learn more about the game in a fun environment? Or are you interested in your child learning and playing football without all the contact? Then join our coaches as they teach the fundamentals of passing, catching, throwing, offensive and defense strategies, teamwork skills, and sportsmanship! All levels welcome, both boys and girls.

Day: Thursdays after school

Dates: 4/10 - 6/5 (8 weeks)

Cost: $95 for 8 weeks

Recycling Competition Continues!
Turn in recyclables TOMORROW! 

 

Tomorrow, April 4, is the first recycle collection date for the April Ice-Cream Party competition. The class that turns in the most bottles and cans for the month of April will win the party.

 

Additionally, the class that turns in the most bottles and cans tomorrow will also be the winner of the Recycle Trophy for two weeks! Your child's class could be the next to win. Mark your calendars! The second April collection will be April 18th.
Fiesta Bunco!

Ladies, we have 4 spots left! Come BUNCO with us, Fiesta style! With Mother's Day weekend coming up, you deserve an evening of laughs and good times. Plus, with you out of the house, this will give Dad and the kids an opportunity to prepare to spoil you on Mother's Day. 

Drinks and food served. Prizes awarded. 

 

Date: Saturday, May 10th, 2014

Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Location: Manning Home

Cost: $40 per person

 

Leave kids with sitter as this is an adult venue.

Book Fair Begins Tomorrow!

Thank you to everyone who signed up to help at our Scholastic Book Fair! We just need a few more helpers! This is an event that brings a wonderful selection of fun, engaging, and affordable books kids want to read. The more kids practice reading, the better they'll get.
