Next Recycling Day This Friday
Please bring uncrushed CRV cans/bottles to school Friday, 2/21

We had a great start to the month-long Bottles and Cans Fundraiser/Ice-Cream Social Competion. Thank you to the kids and parents who donated their bottles and cans. Here are the current standings:

Ms. Hoffman           299
Ms. Prado               169
Mrs. Bartlett              92
Mr. Brown                 65
Ms. Wilson                  8
Ms. Schuster              7

There is still time to get your child's class involved and win the Ice-Cream Social. The next date to donate is Friday, Februay 21st. The class that brings in the most bottles & cans for the month of February will win!

Kindergarten parents, if your child is a Late Friend you can still bring in your bottles and cans to the front of the school by the flag pole. A parent will be there on February 21st to collect your donation.

Remember that the bottles and cans must be CRV-eligible; some appropriate donations are: water bottles, soda cans, and plastic juice or soda bottles. Those that are NOT CRV-eligible are: wine or liquor bottles, general glass containers, or generic plastic containers. Although these items are recyclable, they are not CRV containers and we will not be able to take them. Thank you Strandwood families for your generous donations to help fundraise for next year's 5th grade Outdoor Education program. If you have any questions please contact Tracy Nachand attnachandclan@att.net
