Holiday Gift Shoppe Continues..

And we still need volunteers! Please help if you can!

Hello! We have had such a great turnout for our gift shop! In fact, it's been such a success that we had to reorder more gifts for the children to select from! The kids are having a great time. We did have to reschedule a few class slots (some classes are the same) to accommodate our new shipment of items.

WE are also SEEKING more VOLUNTEERS!! It is a lot of fun!

Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts if your time allows. Each shift is approximately 70 minutes and you would be helping guide students through the gift shop. Below is the direct link to the Sign-Up Genius for this event:

IMPORTANT: If your child would like to participate please make sure to have them bring their completed budget envelope with cash or check made out to Strandwood PTA on their scheduled gift shop day. Students who do not bring money will remain in classroom with their teacher. Items range in price from $.25 to $10.00.

Strandwood's Sports Basement Day is Sunday!

This Sunday, December 15th, shop at Sports Basement in Walnut Creek and mention that you are a Strandwood Family. You will receive a 10% discount and 10% goes back to Strandwood.

The discount is good all day long. Stop by between 2 and 4 for food and drinks! See you there!

Conference Schedule Continues Next Week

Please ensure your child is picked up on time!

Conference schedule continues through next week. Please pick up your children on time! The schedule is outlined below and runs through Friday, December 20th.

1st - 5th grades: M, T, Th, F - 8:10am - 1:14pm

1st - 5th grades: Wed - 8:10am - 12:30pm

TK/Kindergarten: Early Friends' schedule remains the same. Late Friends are released at 1:30 pm every day.

Deadline to Order Nutcracker DVDs

The deadline to order your 2013 Nutcracker DVDs is today to guarantee delivery before Winter break. DVDs will be delivered to your child's class. Orders will be accepted after today through Friday, December 20, 2013 with delivery in January 2014. An order form can be found by clicking here or visiting the Strandwood PTA website. Place your order form with cash or check in the Nutcracker DVD Sales box in the office. Thank you!

Nutcracker was a Hit!!

Thank you to the 100s of volunteers that stepped up to help out with the Nutcracker production on Saturday, 12/7. We could not have pulled it off without all of the support and help we got from parent volunteers, committee coordinators, our wonderful teachers and fabulous Mrs. Kim! The kids were fantastic in their performances and we are so proud of them; they worked so hard learning their dances! We hope that you all enjoyed the shows on Saturday and had as much fun as we did.

We look forward to another great production next year and will be looking to our Strandwood community to help keep this great tradition going!
