Give Us Your Bottles and Cans!

Did you know that less than 20% of glass bottles are being recycled each year and that 8 out of 10 plastic bottles are put out in the trash never to be recycled?

To help raise funds for next year's 5th grade Outdoor Education program, we are asking you to bring all your California Redemption Value (CRV)-eligible plastic, aluminum, and glass bottles and cans to the school on the days listed below.

Here's how it will work. On the designated Friday morning drop-off, bring your CRV-eligible recyclables in a plastic bag to either the front of the school by the flag pole or the back of the school by the picnic tables. Please make sure that you follow all city and school policies regarding parking.

Please do NOT crush or collapse the plastic and aluminum.

Talk to your neighbors, grandparents, and friends to see if you can have their CRV recyclables, too! Please join us in helping the environment AND next year's 5th graders!
