Strandwood Girls on the Run 5K!
This weekend! 

 

Come out & support our Strandwood girls from Girls on the Run! The girls have been practicing for many weeks now in preparation for this exciting end of the season event.

 

The 5k is a great way to spread the joyfulness and healthy living that we practice at Girls on the Run with a wider community. The event is open to EVERYONE - strollers, dogs, babies, first-time runners, walkers, and cheerleaders! Come out to Lake Merritt in Oakland on Sunday, November 24th (9am to 11am) to support your classmates and enjoy a fun-filled day. For more details about the run, click here.

November Box Tops!

 

This month's deadline to turn in Box Tops is tomorrow, Nov. 22nd. 

 

Please remember to turn your Box Tops in to the office with your child's name, teacher's name, and grade on the bag or collection sheet so that they and their teacher will receive credit. The child with the most Box Tops from each grade will earn a prize.

Nutcracker Front Row Seats Auction Ends Tomorrow!
Last day to bid is 11/22
It's time to bid on the best seats in the house! You have two days left! Go to http://www.biddingforgood.com/strandwood to bid. Up for grabs are two sets of front row seats for EACH of the three shows. Each lucky winner will get four (4) front row seats, a reserved parking spot and a basket of goodies. Plus, you can skip the line because your seats will be waiting for you. Don't miss this chance to sit in the best seats in the house! If you've never used Bidding for Good before, you'll need to set up a username and password. One Warm Coat
The 4th grade Girl Scout Troop 30471 will be collecting coats through tomorrow, Friday, 11/22. You can drop off your gently used jacket or coat in front of the MUR before or after school. One Warm Coat helps to provide a warm coat to those in need. Share the warmth!
