Jump Start Day is August 26th!

By now you should have received a Save the Date postcard in the mail for Jump Start Day, taking place Monday, August 26th, from 4 pm - 7 pm. You can find the packet you will need to print out HERE. Please read through the information and fill out the forms you will need to drop off at Jump Start Day.

Please arrive during the time slot assigned to your last name.

A-I: 4 pm - 5 pm

J-R: 5 pm - 6 pm

S-Z: 6 pm - 7 pm

We have a lot of great programs participating this year, and look forward to sharing them with the parents of Strandwood!

In Need of a Few More Volunteers!

We are still in need of a few more volunteers to help out on JSD. There are two shifts available - 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm and 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. We could also use one or two people to help clean up from 7 pm - 8 pm. If you are able to work during any of these times, please email vpcomm@strandwood.org. Thank you!!

Directory Form is Now Online!

The 2013/2014 Student Directory Form is now online at strandwood.org. You can find its link on the right-hand side of the Home page under "What's New" or click HERE. You must fill out this form if you would like your child(ren) to be listed in the 2013/2014 printed Student Directory. You can choose to include as much information as you are comfortable with such as your phone number, email address, home address, etc. The directories will go home with all students in the fall. This is a very useful tool and we encourage you to be part of the directory! Remember: if you choose to be in the directory, you must fill out a form for EVERY child attending Strandwood.

Promote your business in our Directory!

For $25 you can have your business promoted in the Student Directory! Just bring your business card to Jump Start Day with a check for $25 and visit the Directory/Business Ads table.

Back to School PTA Coffee is August 28th

Mark your calendars for the PTA Back to School Coffee. We will be in front of the Multi-Use Room after drop-off on the first day of school, August 28th!

Come say hi and enjoy a free cup of coffee and a bagel or pastry!
