La Mordida Fundraiser Extended Through June

La Mordida is generously extending their offer to donate 10% of funds from your orders through the month of June! Please remember to tell the cashier that you are from Strandwood, and don't forget to sign the log book so Strandwood gets credit!!
What: Eat at La Mordida (see flyer here) and earn money for Outdoor Education.
When: The ENTIRE month of JUNE!!!
Where: La Mordida at 607 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill
Why: To support our neighbor (La Mordida) and raise money for our school!
All you have to do is mention Strandwood when you order, sign the log book, and La Mordida will donate 10% of your order to Outdoor Education for the ENTIRE month of June! Pass on the word to friends and family!

Volunteers for Jump Start Day Needed

As we wind down the 2012-2013 school year preparations are underway for Jump Start Day, August 26, 2013. Many volunteers are needed for this important day and we can use your help. Interested volunteers can contact Joscelyn Willett at vpcomm@strandwood.org. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

June 3 - Kindergarten Spring Sing at 6:30 pm
June 5 - Beach Day (Dress like you're going to the beach!)
June 5 - 5th Grade Picnic @ 10:30 am
June 6 - Last General PTA Meeting of the year, 7 pm in the Library
June 13 - 5th Grade Promotion at 8:15 am
June 13 - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!
