WHEN: Sunday, April 28th, Noon to 4:00 pm
WHAT: With provided clues, explore Pleasant Hill while participating in activities that are challenging and fun for all ages. The Race is based on the popular TV Show 'The Amazing Race.' However, the Pleasant Hill Amazing Race is not a timed race.
HOW IT WORKS: Meet at Magoo's Grill of Pleasant Hill at 1250 Contra Costa Blvd. at Noon. Here you will receive the race rules and instructions. As you proceed through the course, each stop will challenge you with clues and activities (which will resemble those on Minute to Win It). Do as much of the course as you can and meet at Pleasant Hill City Hall at 100 Gregory Lane at 4 pm for the finale and for the announcement of the winners.
MAKE IT FUN: Wear matching T-shirts or hats! Prizes for best costume/outfit.
PRE-RACE BRUNCH: Competitors and FPHE supporters, join us for brunch hosted by Magoo's Grill from 10 am - Noon. Magoo's will be offering its famous Eggs Benedict and other breakfast favorites. Cost is $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 12 and under. Purchase tickets at
