See's Candy Orders Due Tomorrow
|
|
If you are still waiting to make your See's Candy order, wait no more! All candy orders are due tomorrow, March 15th! Order forms can be found in the office.
See's Candy is the perfect gift to give the family that has everything this spring. How about a yummy See's chocolate egg for an Easter basket? Or what about a pound of chocolate for Mom on Mother's Day? Your favorite teacher would be delighted to find a pound of peanut brittle sitting on their desk during the upcoming Staff Appreciation Week! The possibilities are endless.
All candy will be distributed at school by March 25th to the students. If you do not want the candy sent home with your child, please email Debbie Wilson at Debbie_Wilson@comcast.net.
Please make checks payable to Strandwood PTA.
Thank you so much for your support of our 4th graders!

And the 2012 Top Chef is....

The Towle Family!! Thanks so much to all the chefs who prepared our wonderful Culinary Delights meals this past year. It was SO hard to decide upon the winner, as all of our meals were so exceptional. We really appreciate all the time and love that went into the thought and preparation of each meal. We, unfortunately, had to choose just one winner and it was the menu consisting of: stuffed fresh abalone (the chef even dove for them!), Caprese salad, perfectly grilled bone-in pork chops served on a bed of Mediterranean couscous, bok choy with ginger and soy, and handmade chocolate truffles and dipped strawberries! Our gratitude to the Towles will be re-payed with a gift card to the restaurant of their choosing!
We enjoyed our meals and time together so much that we all purchased the Culinary Delights event again at this year's auction and can't wait to see what is served up to us in the coming months!
Love and Thanks for supporting Strandwood,
The Bargmanns, Jurows, Harringtons and Shanks
