Results are in! Sophia Austin is the December winner and Lauren Stone is the January winner for the most Box Tops collected! You are all doing such a wonderful job at submitting your Box Tops. Our deadline for February is the last day of the month. Please label your bags with your child's name, teacher, and total count to be included in the contest, and turn them in to the office by Thursday, February 28th. Keep clipping!

Start Your Bidding!!
We are so excited about our online auction and all the great donations that we have to offer you this year. Please log on to www.biddingforgood.com/strandwood to take a look and start bidding! Official bidding will last for two weeks only, ending February 28th. Bidding For Good is the ONLY place that you can purchase your class project and your teachers' experiences. The teachers have really gone out of their way to provide unique and memorable experiences for your children, and Mrs. Kim has once again gone above and beyond to make your child feel extra special. She is offering a very special movie evening for your child at a "Buy It Now" price of $75. The first 15 kids get to join her for a fun evening filled with dinner and a movie! Don't miss out! There are also some amazing sports packages and travel deals.
There are over 150 other fantastic items as well, including some amazing sports packages and travel deals! Please make sure you log on, register and check back frequently. We are adding items daily as new donations trickle in.
Some of the most popular items, besides the teacher experiences and class projects, are always the vacation getaways, Disneyland tickets and the coveted monthy marquee greetings! On the website you can also see the items that will be at the live event, including all of the silent auction items and those included in the "Live-auctioneer" portion of the evening.

You can still purchase tickets with a check to the office, or by going online at www.strandwood.org and using PayPal (there will be a small service fee for ordering online).
If you have never gone to the auction before, PLEASE do!! It is a great night, and much fun is had by all. Don't worry if you don't know a lot of people! By the end of the evening you will have a ton of new Strandwood friends! We really welcome all of the new parents and families and encourage you to attend the auction. It will be a night to remember at the Contra Costa Country Club on March 2nd.
Raffle!
The raffle is back and better than ever! Don't miss your chance to win an iPad mini, Adult Cruiser or Kate Spade handbag! The "Raffle Lady" will be back on campus today during the morning and afternoon; you won't be able to miss her!! Friday she will be in front of the school at dropoff and pickup. Raffle ticket orders were sent home with your child yesterday! Please check backpacks.
