Girls on the Run is Coming to Strandwood!
Registration Deadline is Feb. 1st!
Girls on the Run is a non-competitive, curriculum-based running program dedicated to educating and building confidence in girls in grades 3 - 5. You don't have to love running to get moving, play games and build your fitness! Sign up today and join us on February 25th for our first session.

The deadline to register is this coming Friday, February 1st. Enrollment is first come, first served online at www.gotrbayarea.org. The 20 week series is $150/girl and scholarships are available. The girls will meet on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:00 pm - 4:15 pm at Strandwood. Hope to see you there! See the flyer in the office or go online for more information.

Nutcracker Volunteer Meeting
Did you fall in love with the Nutcracker this year and want to see it continue for many years to come? The Nutcracker Committee is looking for leaders to take on key, strategic positions within the committee. All are invited to attend our next committee meeting to discuss the future of this beloved program. We will be meeting Thursday, January 31st @ 8:15am -  9:00am in the library. Please make plans to join us.

Nutcracker Closet

The Nutcracker Closet was very successful this year. We received many donations and many families were able to borrow needed items. If you did borrow something from the closet please launder the item, if appropriate, and return it to the Nutcracker Closet collection basket outside the MUR. If you have items you would like to donate, those can also be placed in the basket. We are collecting any items that are used for the basic costumes. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Alexandra Kemp at nutcrackercloset@strandwood.org.
