Nutcracker Ticket AuctionTwo more days to bid!!
You have two more days to bid on the most valuable seats available for the Nutcracker! Remember, each Nutcracker performer receives only TWO SEATS for his/her show. Due to the record number of students participating in this year's production and very limited seating in the Multi-Use Room (determined by the Fire Code) we have NO extra tickets to distribute.
To be guaranteed the best view possible, go to www.biddingforgood.com/strandwood/nutcracker and bid on front and second row seats. You will need to register with Bidding For Good to bid, so please do that first. You will then be ready for the Online Dinner Dance Auction come this spring, too. Thanks so much and good luck!
Up for auction are sets of (4) tickets, either in the first or second row, on the aisle, and available for each show. (There will be two sets for front-row and two sets for second-row.) Included with the tickets is a parking spot in the main parking lot, 4 cushioned seats, and a basket of goodies. Please note that if you are the winner of the auction, you will need to give up your "general admission" tickets. Please see the auction website for more information.

We'll Miss You, Emily!
by Mrs. Kim
"Never believe that a few caring people can't change the world. For, indeed, that's all who ever have." - Margaret Mead
We have been fortunate to have Ms. Emily Sugarman as our office manager at Strandwood for the past year. Sadly, Emily is moving on to other opportunities outside of our district. We wish her well and know she has been grateful for the opportunity to have worked for MDUSD, and respects the achievements and hard work of the staff, parents and students at our school. Please take some time in the next few days to say thank you and tell her how much you have appreciated her!
