Nutcracker "Seating" Policy
Each performer gets two "seats" to the show. For example, if you have one child in show 1 then you will receive two seats. If you have two children in show 1, you will receive four seats. There will be a list at the door, and guests may check in under the student's name. We have very large casts this year so seating is very limited. Our audience numbers are based on fire code capacity, therefore we need to count people in the room (including babies & small children), not actual chairs taken. Everyone needs to be counted, no exceptions.
We are paperless this year due to past issues with lost tickets, misplaced tickets, forgotten tickets, etc. If you will NOT be using your seat allotment, please email Kelly Gallagher at nutcrackerseats@strandwood.org and let her know ASAP. Once we determine how many available "extras" we have for each show, we may be able to accommodate additional seat requests. So, if you do need an extra seat, please email Kelly and we will put you on our wait list. You will be notified the week prior to the show if we can accommodate your request. Remember, the Dress Rehearsals are a fantastic way for additional friends and family to see the show. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pre-Order Your Nutcracker DVDs
Preserve your Nutcracker memories by ordering a DVD of your child's show. Order forms can be found in your child's Nutcracker information packet or by clicking here. Drop your order form with payment in the Nutcracker box in the office. DVD orders will also be taken at each show.

Outdoor Ed. See's Candy Holiday Fundraiser
|
All 4th graders will be selling See's Candy to raise money for their Outdoor Ed trip in fifth grade. Fundraising is critical so that we can lower the overall cost for EACH student.
4th graders will be selling delicious See's candy from November 2nd through November 30th. All candy will be distributed at school (mid-December before break) to the students. If you do not want the candy sent home with your child, please email Debbie Wilson at Debbie_Wilson@comcast.net.
Please make checks payable to Strandwood PTA.
So...please find one of those adorable 4th graders, and let them sell you some candy!! If you can't find one, please feel free to pick up an order sheet in the office or from one of the See's Ladies on the playground on November 7th and November 12th after school.
Thank you so much for your support and participation!

November Box Tops
| |
Start collecting your November Box Tops!
Box Tops is such an easy way for parents to get involved in helping our school earn cash to buy some of the essentials we need. This year our goal is to raise $700 with Box Tops! Here's how you can help:
1. Purchase Box Tops products and clip the coupons found on them. Collect them in a bag and at the end of the month, total up the quantity and send the Box Tops to school with your child!
2. Sign up for eBoxTops at www.btfe.com/hero. There are a dozen ways to continue to earn eBoxTops online.
Each month we will have a drawing for the child who collects the highest number of Box Tops by the deadline. The child with the highest number will earn a gift card to Jamba Juice and a lovely certificate! With that in mind, the deadline for November Box Tops is Friday, November 30th.
Let's start collecting! If you have any questions, please contact lalenas@gmail.com.
