Early voting begins today, October 19, for the 2015 Allen ISD Bond Election. The $272,580,000 proposal, which would not increase the school tax rate, includes new schools, renovations and improvements, security and technology upgrades.

Major Projects Included in the Bond
- Build a new Lowery Freshman Center facility north of the existing Lowery Center
- Build a new elementary school (#18) in the northwest quadrant of the school district
- Build a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) satellite facility for Allen High School that will also serve as a destination for K-8 field trips / activities
- Relocate the Dillard Special Achievement Center to a larger space in a renovated portion of the current Lowery Center
- Renovate and repurpose the existing Dillard Special Achievement Center for professional development/training space as well as additional office space
- Renovate two elementary schools (Kerr and Marion). Two other campuses will be renovated using existing funds (Vaughan and Bolin).
