Update on Flood Relief

Bishop Mark has been in touch with the bishops of West Virginia regarding the recent flooding in that state. While the Episcopal churches were not seriously impacted, the Diocese of West Virginia is receiving funds for people in need of assistance through Episcopal Relief and Development. You can donate directly to flood relief for West Virginia by sending a check to:

Please note "West Virginia Flooding" in the memo line. Donations may also be made online at http://www.episcopalrelief.org/what-you-can-do/donate-now/individual-donation.

In our diocese, there has been some flooding at Boys Home in Covington, primarily in the stable area, where some hay was lost. Canon Mark Furlow has been in touch with Donnie Wheatley, Executive Director of Boys Home, who reports that the situation is under control. They will continue to work together on how the diocese can help. Stay tuned for more information.
