When and where do Fall Convocation Meetings take place?

October 9 ~

Lynchburg Convocation

2:30 PM at St. John's, Bedford 

 

October 16 ~  

Roanoke Convocation

2:30 PM at St. Paul's, Salem 

 

October 23 ~
Augusta Convocation

3 PM at RE Lee Memorial, Lexington 

 

October 30 ~ Abingdon Convocation

2:30 PM at St. Thomas, Abingdon 

 

November 6 ~ New River Convocation

3 PM at St. John's, Wytheville 
What's coming up at the meeting?

The fall meetings provide an opportunity to elect, or to nominate for election at Annual Convention, people who will serve in key leadership roles. As you think about those around you in your parish, who might best bring the gifts and skills needed for our common mission? Determine if these people are willing to be considered, and contact your dean or president with suggested names prior to the meeting. If you have questions about a position, contact someone is who is currently serving for first-hand experience.
  • Who's Who in Diocesan Leadership: includes contact information for those currently serving, those whose terms expire at the close of Convention 2017, and those eligible for reelection
