Notes from Bishop Mark
● Last night, I instituted The Rev. Alexander D. MacPhail as the Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, Roanoke.
● Haitian Priest in the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia: Last Sunday, The Rev. Canon Mark Furlow and I met with The Rev. Noe Bernier from the Diocese of Haiti. Pere Noe was a guest of the The Rev. Roger Bowen and the Virginia Haiti Collaborative. The conversation was productive, and I look forward to developing a deeper relationship with Pere Noe and the parishes and schools he serves in Haiti.
● Sunday Visitations: Last Sunday I worshipped with the people of Trinity, Arrington. There were four baptisms, two confirmations, and three receptions. This Sunday I will visit Grace, Massies Mill.
