This week, Bishop Mark is attending the Project Resource event in Denver with our team of two clergy and two lay people. Project Resource is designed to incite a new culture in financial development and membershi
p growth, equipping each team to return to their diocese to teachand lead locally in areas of resource development.

If there's an event or piece of news you'd like to see high
lighted here or on our website, please email news@dioswva.orgCheck out the Bulletin Board section of the diocesan website to learn about events and offers.

A Note from Kate Garcia: Thank you to those of you who responded to last week's request and have helped me clarify the message.

Each parish is asked to send Kate Garcia (kgarcia@dioswva.org
) the names and birth dates of all lay AND clergy employees who work 20 hours a week or more and are salaried. If there are no eligible employees, let Kate know that as well. Please send a quick email by October 2. This information is needed by the Church Pension Group as we negotioate a new group life insurance contract for our diocese. Please don't leave out any names just because the person already has life insurance, or doesn't want life insurance, or is over 65, or is brand-new in your parish. We need a "snapshot" of the whole group. Thank you for your help!
