Science of Relationships: The Prevention Connection
March 30, 2015
Children's social and emotional competence prepares them for successfully handling life's challenges as they grow. Children with honed social and emotional skills communicate clearly, regulate their emotions, and maintain relationships with others because they problem solve and resolve conflicts.
This 4th Annual Strengthening Families Summit plans to bring the latest knowledge and strategies for building strong children.  All workshops will increase participant's knowledge, skill and/or practice change in one or more of the following topic areas as they relate to the child's social and emotional well- being.
We're Champions!
We're honored to be named Citizens Bank 2014 Champion in Action. This means we will be in partnership with the Union Leader and Citizens Bank to promote all we do to strengthen families in New Hampshire! We're feeling incredibly lucky to be able to provide more support for family strengthening in NH.
Sun Safety 101
Getting too much sun can be dangerous, especially for children. Even children with dark skin need protection. Umbrellas and shade sometimes do not give enough protection. Protect your child in other ways, too.
