Welcome to October!

Have you seen our latest white papers? We have three new case studies which showcase how we've helped our clients solve workforce problems, increase productivity, and provide overall cost savings. One study explains how we helped a pharmaceutical and healthcare company build an internal agency. This allows for a more cohesive and integrated platform for their organization. Another study demonstrates how we partnered with a financial services company to fill their creative roles. Lastly, we have a white paper specifically geared towards VMS and MSP clients. Download all three here to discover new ways we might be able to help you, too.

Our quarterly Creative Events Calendar is quite special this month! It was designed in-house by our own Receptionist, Administrative Assistant (and Designer), Patrick ButlerClick here to download your copy.

'Tis the Season For Seasonal Help

Catherine Lang-Cline, President  *
 Co-Founder

"If you know you need to be highly visible during a competitive selling season, start thinking about great marketing people you might want to bring in during the rush. Maybe you really need producers and sellers to handle extra orders. In that case, consider asking for experienced folks who work hard and are self-motivated."

Workplace Ergonomics: How Surroundings Can Improve Creativity

Kristen Harris, COO * Co-Founder

"October is National Ergonomics Month. Maybe not a big holiday on your calendar, but ergonomics can have a strong influence on the quality of our creative work. These Things Scare Me

Chris Cochran, Director

I get a twisted thrill from scaring my oldest daughter - she's seven. When she gets me back, which she does, I re-think my love for the scare. I don't enjoy it. I'm a hypocritical scarer. Here are some other things that I don't like that scare me:

  • Clients who start a job search without an approved job description.

  • Experienced candidates who don't believe the resume is as important as how they'll do in the interview.

  • Clients telling us that they've had trouble with people staying in the position that's now vacant.

  • Candidates who tell us everything that was wrong with the people at their previous jobs.

  • Clients who say, "I'll know it when I see it."

  • Candidates who say, "Just get me the interview and I'll explain why it's not as big of a deal as it seems."

  • Clients informing us that they want to make an offer to the perfect candidate, but they need another "few weeks" before they can do it.

  • Candidates who tell us, "I'd never say that in a real interview."

  • Clients informing us that they've tweaked the search just a bit - for the fourth time.

  • A candidate who responds with, "Do they need to know that?"

  • First-time clients who want us to start a search, but don't have time to meet with us.

  • Candidates who tell us, "I could easily learn it if they're okay with that."

  • Clients who say, "Now just hope I can get approval."

  • Candidates who say, "I hadn't thought about that...do you think that matters?"

Last thought...don't be scared to talk with a creative recruiter!
