Steven's Selections ~ The Holidays - December, 2015

Welcome to the December 2015 Newsletter!

Happy Holidays from       Stephanie, Steven, and Kim Schuyler

In Boston, it was the year of Eight feet of Snow, to have the Olympics or not to have the Olympics, the drama of deflate-gate (did he or didn't he?) and much more!
Hopefully the winter will bring enough snow for the skiers but not too much for the commuters.
We hope that wherever you are, that your holiday season is comfortable, cozy, and bright; that friends and family enjoy good cheer; and that the New Year is a good one.

Happy Browsing!

Between 1908 and 1940, some 75,000 Sears homes were built.  And yet, there has been very little research published on the subject.  Rose Thornton's book corrects that oversight handily with this new publication.  This labor of love of hers will resonate with architectural historians, kit homeowners and readers of Americana, since the kit house was a uniquely American feature of our architectural landscape.
