Tennessee 811 will present an additional informational meeting in Murfreesboro, TN, to discuss New Law changes, DIRT & Positive Response

   We have scheduled an additional meeting to explain changes to the Tennessee Underground Damage Prevention Act.

   The meeting will be held in Murfreesboro, TN, on December 14th,  and is being hosted by
Tennessee 811.  

   The meeting will be held at:

Training Facility of the Tennessee Association of Utility Districts
840 Commercial Court
Murfreesboro, TN


   At the start of the meeting, we will be honoring Senator Bill Ketron with our "Legislator of the Year" award, for his hard work and support that helped facilitate the changes to TCA 65-31.

   We urge you to attend so that you understand how the changes to the Tennessee Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act may affect you.

   The meeting will cover all changes to the Tennessee Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act, which was signed by Governor Haslam in May, of this year.

   The meeting will last approximately 2 hours.
 
   We will explain mandatory damage reporting in the DIRT tool and help you sign up for this.
 
   We will also discuss, what is required for Positive Response, since closing tickets within Positive Response is mandatory and it must be done through the Positive Response System.
 
   New Damage Prevention Guides will be available for you at the meeting.
