Tennessee 811 will present an additional informational meeting in Chattanooga, TN, to discuss New Law changes, DIRT & Positive Response

   We have scheduled an additional meeting to explain changes to the Tennessee Underground Damage Prevention Act.

   The meeting will be held in Chattanooga, TN, on November 17th and is being hosted by Chattanooga EPB and Tennessee 811.  

   The meeting will be held at:

Chattanooga EPB - (7th Floor Community Room)
10 W. MLK Boulevard, Chattanooga, TN

   (Parking is available in garage at rear of building and on all side streets around the building)

  • Breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m.
  • Presentation and meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. 

   We urge you to attend so that you understand how the changes to the Tennessee Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act may affect you.

   The meeting will cover all changes to the Tennessee Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act, which was signed by Governor Haslam in May, of this year.

   The meeting will last approximately 2 hours.
 
   We will explain mandatory damage reporting in the DIRT tool and help you sign up for this.
 
   We will also discuss, what is required for Positive Response. Closing tickets in Positive Response is mandatory and it must be done through the Positive Response System.
 
   New Damage Prevention Guides will be available for you at the meeting.
