 March 2013

Greetings!

The Florida Legislature is in Session. It will be an exciting 60 days in Tallahassee with a lot of hope that our elected officials will take a long-term view toward the future of Florida. Term limits tend to keep members focused on the immediate crisis. With the current leadership, Florida has a chance to make serious steps toward long-term sustained economic opportunity, enhance social well-being while ensuring a healthy environment for residents and visitors.

The Sustainable Florida Board meets this week to talk about its long-term future for helping individuals, organizations and companies focus on sustainability principles and incorporate them into everyday business practices. Let us know if we can help you.

One way you can help us is by nominating someone for the Sustainable Florida Best Practice Awards. Nominations are open for a few more weeks. Let us know what is happening in your region. Learn more below.

All the best,

Tim sig
