After some time off the road, we're loaded up and rolling toward three days of concerts in Indiana this weekend! We'll kick off the trip with two "Jubilee!" concerts in Shipshewana, Indiana, with The Booth Brothers and Legacy Five, before finishing out the weekend in other parts of the state. The first pre-production meetings for the Cathedrals Family Reunion CD took place this week in Nashville, and the excitement in the room was very obvious. Producers, Landon Beene, Ernie Haase, Wayne Haun, and Gerald Wolfe spent the first day going over the long list of songs made popular by the Cathedral Quartet, trying to figure out which songs would best represent the Cathedrals' almost-four decades of music ministry. It was no easy task, and the guys eventually asked people for their input via the Cathedrals Family Reunion Facebook Page.
Scott Fowler, Danny Funderburk, Ernie Haase, Mark Trammell, and Gerald Wolfe will record the project later this Summer. Three different bass singers will be included on the project... Pat Barker, Matt Fouch, and Paul Harkey, and a few of the songs will feature all fifteen vocalists from Greater Vision, Legacy Five, Mark Trammell Quartet, and Signature Sound.
The project is scheduled for release on November 12, 2013.

Our bus is in Nashville for the next few weeks for some upgrades, so we're riding in "the trusty Sprinter van" for the remainder of June. Since we traveled in a Dodge van for the first three years we were on the road, this brings back lots of memories... good and not-so-good! LOL
