Kugl, kigl, kugeleh. Lokshn (noodles), Bulbes (potatoes), LA-Vegan-gluten-free-quinoa kugl?
Whatever you call it, whatever you put in it, kugl is the ultimate in Jewish culinary creativity, a sweet or savory dish that seems to find its way to your plate at every holiday and family gathering.

The Amazing Kugl Kukh-Off
Never seen a Kukh-Off? Check out scenes from 2008!
At the heart of this year's Silverlake Festival of Lights is the third quadrennial Kugl Kukh-Off and you can put your kugl to the test. Bring your best kugl (or your tasting fork) and prepare for a day that will make you question everything you thought you knew about kugl.

Our kugl olympiad occurs once every four years -- a gastronomic celebration of all things kugl -- complete with kugl tasting, live music, and plenty of family fun.

Sound geshmakWe thought so, too!
