Kugl, kigl, kugeleh. Lokshn (noodles), Bulbes (potatoes), LA-Vegan-gluten-free-quinoa kugl? Whatever you call it, whatever you put in it, kugl is the ultimate in Jewish culinary creativity, a sweet or savory dish that seems to find its way to your plate at every holiday and family gathering.

At the heart of this year's Silverlake Festival of Lights is the third quadrennial Kugl Kukh-Off and you can put your kugl to the test. Bring your best kugl (or your tasting fork) and prepare for a day that will make you question everything you thought you knew about kugl. Our kugl olympiad occurs once every four years -- a gastronomic celebration of all things kugl -- complete with kugl tasting, live music, and plenty of family fun. Sound geshmak? We thought so, too! ** Kugl Chefs, you can download your entry form HERE! **
