Daughter of Allied Manager qualifies for US Olympic Wrestling team
The daughter of Allied Building Product's District Manager Larry Augello has qualified for the US Olympic Wrestling team. Haley Augello, 21, traveled to Mongolia earlier this year to compete in qualifiers for her weight class for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and returned home with her mission accomplished. Haley nailed down a spot on her first Olympic team by taking silver in the 48 kg. weight class and will now join ten other wrestlers on the U.S. Olympic Team in Rio this August. | In June, the Oldcastle Talent Management team spent most of the day creating a tranquil backyard retreat and three therapeutic vegetable and fruit gardens for the Hamilton family in Stone Mountain, Georgia. This family has fostered 38 medically fragile children over the past 10 years. |

Precast Concrete Stadium Components used to Construct New Ice Hockey Arena at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY
- Oldcastle Precast -Selkirk designed, engineered, manufactured, and shipped precast concrete L-shaped single stadium risers, cantilevered support wall panels, and stairs to construct the ice hockey arena for the Raiders, Colgate University's Division I ice hockey team.
- These precast concrete stadium components created the seating areas, team and pedestrian walkways, and ice rink perimeter walls.

Ordinarily, precast concrete components are erected in an outside environment, but not for this project. The building envelope was previously completed and all precast components were erected, into place, inside. In consideration of the limited height allowance, numerous pre-construction logistics were developed with the client to safely erect the precast components within the building.

Safety - Stop To Talk/Stop To Text Campaign
Staker Parson (an Oldcastle Materials company) is hitting Utah roadways to spread the word."These are moving billboards, we have hundreds of trucks operating throughout Utah, and so, as the barrels turn, it's a visible way to provide a reminder for people to reinforce the idea: Stop to talk, stop to text," Parson said.
