In March, the Irish Government Minister Paul Kehoe, T.D., Government Chief Whip and Minister of State at the Departments of An Taoiseach and Defense, visited the Preferred Materials asphalt plant in Savannah, Georgia. The Minister, with his construction background, asked detailed questions about the asphalt operations, ranging from product and customer mix to scale of operations, all of which were answered in considerable detail by the local team.
