2015-16 Board Members and Officers
New Officers for Family Ark's 2015-16 Board of Directors have been announced. For the second year, Board President is Paul Kichler, Executive Director of the Bluegrass Center for Autism. Cathy Blair, Retired HR Executive, continues as the Vice President. Lori Lewis, Executive Director of The Hazel and Walter T. Bales Foundation has been elected Secretary.

New to the Board this year is Kate Miller, Group Medicare Underwriter - Humana; Cheryl Martin, College and Career Center Coordinator at Greater Clark County Schools; and Michael Osterkamp, Retired Kroger's Executive.

Returning Board members include Brittany Blau, Mary Sanchez, Saundra Gordon, Staci Flispart, and Honorary Lifetime Members - David Hillman and Nathan Wolfe. 
 
Family Ark Receives WHAS Crusade for Children Grant
Family Ark was recently awarded a $10,000 grant from the 62nd Annual Crusade for Children! Grant funding will be used for kitchen renovations and security lighting for our on-campus Day Reporting and Treatment Program. A total of $5,674,721 was collected during this year's Crusade and was distributed to 191 agencies, hospitals and schools. Thanks to all who gave to this year's Crusade and thanks Crusade for continuing to support Family Ark's children!

 

Family Ark Announces New Behavioral Health Center
In mid-August, Family Ark will open a community outpatient Behavioral Health Center on the Family Ark campus! The Center will be available to current clients and the community at large, offering services for children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment options include: Counseling (individual, family and group), Substance Abuse Treatment (individual and group), Diagnostic Services (clinical assessment, psychiatric), and Medication Management. Services will be provided by an experienced staff which includes a licensed psychiatrist, psychologist, and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Counseling staff includes clinical social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and clinical addictions counselors. The Behavioral Health Center is located at 215 Rainbow Way, Jeffersonville, Indiana, on Family Ark's 83-acre campus. Call (812) 284-1760 for more information.
