Family Ark's Programs and Services
For more than 40 years, Family Ark has provided a variety of services to the children and families in Southern Indiana.

Foster Care - As a licensed child placing agency, Family Ark's foster care program helps families obtain their foster care license, and works with families during foster care placements by providing ongoing training and case management services.

Home-Based Services - Family Ark offers therapy and case management services to clients in their natural environment (primarily the home but can include the school or community). Some areas of focus include: stress management, communication skills, conflict resolution, parenting skills, mood disorders, domestic violence, etc. Therapy is provided by Master's level clinicians. Therapy services are also offered for juveniles with sexual behavior problems. These services are certified through the Juvenile Sexual Offending Counselor Certification Program (JSOCCP).

Day Reporting and Treatment Program (DRTP)
Offered as an alternative to detention, this on-campus program for youth, ages 12-18, includes educational planning, life skills training, independent living skills, community service projects, recreational activities, family involvement, and evidence based treatments. The program is centered on the development of pro-social behavior and the 6 domains for positive youth development.

Family Ark will soon open a Behavioral Health Center which will offer therapy services including individual, group and family therapy. Stay tuned for news of the opening date!
Family Ark's Ecosystem
Through Family Ark's partnership with Purdue Extension, several professionals with the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), will be on campus this summer to inventory the plants and animals within Family Ark's wetlands, fields and wooded areas. This current census will let us know what lives and grows in our own small part of the universe. We'll keep you informed about what they discover!
Your Donations to Goodwill Help Family Ark's Families!

Is it time to clean out your garage or closet, or do you have items remaining from your garage sale? Take your no longer needed items to any Goodwill in Southern Indiana and designate Family Ark as a nonprofit recipient. Family Ark will then receive  vouchers for our children and parents to use when shopping for needed clothing, shoes, etc. Your donated items will make the difference for many families!
