As you may be aware, in October of 2014 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted approval of Pfizer's Trumenba® (Meningococcal Group B Vaccine) for active immunization to prevent invasive disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B in individuals 10 through 25 years of age.
CCPA Purchasing Partners (CCPAPP) is pleased to inform you of a new partnership with Pfizer that provides our members with access to a 5% discount on all purchases of Trumenba®! Pricing information for CCPAPP's agreement with Pfizer can be found on the pricing page of the CCPAPP website. You will need your practice's username and password in order to view the information.
To receive CCPAPP's contracted rate, orders of Trumenba® must be placed through a pre-selected authorized distributor for Pfizer. In order to select your authorized distributor and to provide the additional information necessary to participate in this agreement, your practice must complete and submit CCPAPP's Pfizer Vaccine Participation Form found on the vaccine forms page of the CCPAPP website and return it to CCPAPP prior to placing your first order. As noted on the form, the full name and valid DEA License number of the physician registered to your practice's ordering account with your selected distributor is required.
As a preferred business partner of CCPAPP, we encourage all members to order through McKesson. If you currently do not have a McKesson ordering account, please feel free to contact CCPAPP or McKesson for assistance. A McKesson new account application can also be found on the vendor forms page of the CCPAPP website. Should your practice prefer to utilize a distributor other than McKesson to purchase Trumenba®, you must indicate your preference on CCPAPP's Pfizer Vaccine Participation Form.
