- Limited Partner members who utilized one or more of CCPAPP's contracted vendors in 2013 should have recently received a distribution check and K-1 schedule. This year's distribution has been the largest to date, with CCPAPP distributing over $700,000 to its Partner members. Both Partner and Associate members were mailed a report which reflects your sales volume with each vendor. 2014-2015 Sanofi Pasteur Fluzone Information
Please be reminded that the deadline to create, adjust, and/or confirm your Fluzone reservation is March 31, 2014! Members who confirm their Fluzone vaccine reservation by March 31st are eligible for a 3% promotional discount on all presentations of Fluzone vaccine (excluding Fluzone Quadrivalent vaccine 0.25 mL syringes and Fluzone High-Dose vaccine).
By retaining a minimum of 90% of prior year Fluzone vaccine doses, members may also earn a 2% credit on Fluzone Quadrivalent vaccine 0.25 mL prefilled syringes and Fluzone High-Dose vaccine.

2014-2015 MedImmune FluMist InformationCCPAPP has partnered with MedImmune to provide members with access to a 5% discount on all FluMist Quadrivalent purchases made during the 2014-2015 season, even after the pre-book deadline. To enroll, members must complete and submit MedImmune's GPO Declaration Form prior to the shipment of their product.
As a reminder, MedImmune now offers a Return Program in which 25% of product purchased through January 31, 2015 may be eligible for return when customers pre-book by April 18, 2014. MedImmune also offers a Replacement Program in which unused product that expires on or before January 31, 2015 is eligible for replacement. Savings offered through McKesson
Through our partnership with IPC Group Purchasing, members have access to deeper savings with McKesson through Premier, Inc. Members have seen average savings of 10-25% on medical supplies through this agreement and utilization continues to grow. Please be reminded that McKesson has acquired PSS World Medical and practices purchasing from PSS may now participate in our contract with their current representative. Please contact your McKesson or PSS Account Manager. Members must complete a Premier Application in order to enroll in the new agreement. ICD-10: Are We Overlooking the Real Stumbling Block?

The new ICD-10 coding system is undoubtedly a beast - with more than 70,000 codes, the sheer volume of selections can make your head spin. Yet, the professional associations, consultants and instructors who serve the community of coders, who live and breathe these codes day in and day out, have responded with enthusiasm to the new diagnostic coding system.
They are naturally excited about a new system that has the potential to improve accuracy and reduce ambiguity. Although coders may require prep time to integrate the new system into their daily workflow, it's my opinion that all of our focus on educating them may be lulling us into a false sense of security. Indeed, the new ICD-10 coding system will truly change everyone's jobs, not just those of coders.
