2016 VISITORS GUIDE & BUSINESS DIRECTORY

View the Digital Magazine                              Download the Mobile App

One of the most valuable tools the Chamber utilizes to promote your business and our community is our Visitor's Guide.  This quality annual magazine is a benefit of Chamber membership and is used to expose your business to thousands of potential customers.

The publication is presented in print, as a fully interactive digital magazine and as a free mobile app on the iTunes store.  In addition to 25,000 print copies, the digital magazine, which receives more than 115,000 views per year, presents the reader with a live publication and interactive content, including video and search function.  There are three digital options available to you:

*Link to your website from your advertisement
*Video or slideshow on your business
*Create a QR code for your advertisement

The Visitors Guide is distributed through many venues - locally at restaurants, shops and lodging facilities; state-wide at MDOT Visitors Centers; regionally through trade shows; and by individual requests from around the nation.  It is also used as a relocation tool and local business directory.

As part of your membership with the Charlevoix Area Chamber of Commerce, your listing is free in the membership portion of the publication.  However, you can attain  greater recognition and exposure through a business feature or display advertising.

Harbor House Publishers has been a member of our Chamber since 1990.  They are the true industry leader in Michigan and have clients all over the Midwest!  They publish a wide variety of quality publications including maps, magazines, books and directories.

Char Shaltz, Harbor House Account Manager, will contact our Chamber members in the upcoming weeks to discuss options for promoting your business in the 2016 Visitors Guide.  Char is available at 231.582.2814 and additional information on the Visitors Guide may be found by visiting harborhouse.com/charlevoix

INVINCIBLE SUMMER
"In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer."  This line by Nobel Prize winner philosopher and writer Albert Camus (1913-1960) is the inspiration for the winter exhibition at the Charlevoix Circle of Arts entitled "Invincible Summer."  The exhibition committee at CCA felt there would be no better time than in the dead of winter to bring patrons in from the cold and warm them in a gallery of inspiration filled with light, sunshine and mirth.

Opening on Saturday, January 23, from 5-7pm, the Charlevoix Circle of Arts will revel in a summertime glow and present the work of twelve regional artists with works in pastel, oil, watercolor, mixed media, printmaking and textiles.  More
