| Advent Wreath reminds us of the meaning of the season
Advent is a time to prepare to welcome Jesus more deeply into our hearts on Christmas. Consider saying a family prayer each day or doing the blessing of an Advent Wreath for your home to prepare for the great joy of our long-awaited Savior! Remember, Advent is a time to wait, not just time to celebrate!
Advent Suggestions (from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops):
Family Prayer for Advent
Father, all-powerful God, your eternal Word took flesh on our earth when the Virgin Mary placed her life at the service of your plan. Lift our minds in watchful hope to hear the voice which announces his glory, and open our minds to receive the Spirit who prepares us for his coming. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Michelle McGinley
Director of Campus Ministry

OCC-with the help of the National Honor Society, the Band of Buddies, and the Pro-Life Club had a packing party at BEHS on November 14. The groups assisted with packing boxes, packing shoe boxes into cartons, and moving cartons to vehicles to transport to a collection center location.
