What is Naviance and how can it help me? Naviance is a college and career readiness software program that helps connect academic achievement to post-secondary goals. All Juniors and their parents need to familiarize themselves with using Naviance - Family Connection.
What is the first step? - Type in https://connection.naviance.com/behs
- On the "Welcome to Family Connection" page, type in your NetClassroom user name and password. **The letters are case sensitive. ** (If you can't log in and need your password reset, email me and I will reset it - csalley@behs.com)
- Once on Family Connection, please add your personal or school email address so you will receive important information from BEHS.
Have fun exploring! This program is specifically designed for BEHS students, and has your GPA and SAT/ACT information already added uploaded on it. How can I use it? - College Planning - College Search, Application Process, College Major Exploration, Scholarship/Financial Aid Resources
- Career Planning - Learning Style Inventory, Interest Inventory, Personality Inventory, Resume Building
- Success Planning - Personalized Goals and Tasks, Journal Entries, Student Planner
Why do I need to know this? - Research colleges
- Find out about college visits to BEHS
- Apply online to colleges
- Request your transcript to be sent to colleges
- Take self-assessments to find out what you might want to do after high school & college or what you might be good at
- Research career possibilities and explore possible majors
