Borrow a Stark Park Pack!

 

 

SCDL is excited to offer something new to borrow: Stark Park Packs. Five different packs are available to help you explore during outdoor adventures: Birding, Creepy Crawlies, Nature Exploration, Plants, and Wildlife Tracking. Put one on hold through our online catalog and pick it up at the SCDL location of your choosing.

Parenting Tip: Make a Book Nook

Creating a book nook will make reading time feel special. Set up a book nook at home - a space with comfortable seating for two or three. Design it with the help of your child. Make this the place in your home where your child can read on their own or share a book with a parent, friend or sibling.

Recipe Exchange Bank

Need ideas on what to do with the vegetables you've grown with seeds from our Heirloom Seed Bank?  Have a great recipe you're willing to share? We've started a Recipe Exchange Bank.  Submit a recipe by dropping it off at the Adult Services desk at the Main Library or by emailing it to askareference@starklibrary.org now through May 18.  The Exchange will begin June 2 at the Main Library.
