LOW COST RABIES VACCINATIONS
for the whole month of October!
Rabies virus is alive and well in Mariposa County and it is nearly always fatal in humans. Our most recent case involved a skunk but bats and raccoons also spread the disease. There is no way to vaccinate our wildlife so it is up to US to vaccinate our pets.
The majority of human deaths from rabies are in Asia and Africa where dogs infect humans (mainly children). 50,000 people a year die from this preventable disease!
In recognition of World Rabies Awareness, All Creatures will provide low cost ($12.00) rabies vaccination for all pets for the entire month of October. Clients must call ahead for a time slot and the doctor will give a certificate. No exam is required if the rabies vaccination is the only service provided. CASH ONLY PLEASE.
