Use your cell phone, bring a camera, or use our photo booth (times and locations are available at the Save the Fair Booth inside Bldg. A) and take pictures of yourself having fun ....
At the Fair!
It will take over 10,000 half inch square 'cell photos' to make the mural of the Mariposa County Fairgrounds. You can be a part of the mural and help us "Save the Fairgrounds!"
Each tile has a matte finish and is comprised of the photos you submit.
And yes, you can submit as many as you like. The more you submit the more we raise!
We will end up with a unique piece of art that no one can walk by without trying to pick out the people and places in the cell photos that they know. It will act as a living memory of our community!
We anticipate closing out photo submissions by December (if not sooner) and plan on having the mural in place prior to the 2014 County Fair.
This fundraiser not only helps save our Fair and our Fairgrounds, but will be a living piece of history.
Be a part of it and have a great time by taking pictures of yourself, your family, friends, co-workers, etc., at the fairgrounds.
It can be at any time, any event, and any location. It doesn't even have to be at the Fairgrounds. It doesn't even have to be new photos. You can submit photos from the past as well. Simply scan the photos, save as jpegs and submit those too.
Support the Fairgrounds by submitting photos to use on the tiles in the Fairgrounds Mural . Your family, your business, your club, church, school, or organization.... everyone can help save the fairgrounds! You may submit as many photos as you like. (Each photo to be accompanied with a $10.00 donation to help us "Save the Fairgrounds".)
