Edible Gardening: Free Educational Program Saturday, Aug. 23

Join us Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m.-noon at Room & Board for a free educational program. Holly Brooks of King Landscaping along with other gardening experts will share tips and advice about incorporating edibles into your landscape.

Here are some of the topics to be covered:

What are some good perennial edibles?
What are good edibles for fall?
How is the best way to produce or start your own seedlings?
What are some of the advantages of growing vegetables in your landscape?
What maintenance is required?
How much water will be needed?
What yield can you expect?
How can you incorporate edible plantings into your child's play areas?
