Technological change to be debated at EACTP's second networking event
How technology is changing the way we work and live is the topic of the EACTP's second networking event in London next month.
The event for EACTP members and their guests on Wednesday 19th October at the London offices of leading UK and international law firm Osborne Clarke on One London Wall will see a speech and panel debate on the rising speed of technological change and some of the likely implications.
Adrian Bott, a Partner at Osborne Clarke with extensive knowledge and experience of digital businesses, will give a keynote speech on the topic.
Mr Bott will then take part in a panel debate on the same issue, which will be chaired by Ian Gray, a Partner at Baronsmead Consulting, who Chairs the EACTP's Standards and Admissions Committee. Other panellists taking part will be Jukka-Pekka Joensuu, Executive VP of Cinia and EACTPPresident, Lukas Fecker, of Innovation Brain who is TMA Europe President and Keith Bordell, an EACTP member who is also a Partner at Osborne Clarke.
The event, which starts at 5.30pm, will end with a networking drinks reception.
It is the second in a new series of EACTP networking sessions in the UK, which are due to be extended across Europe. The inaugural event held in June was attended by more than 40 people and saw a lively discussion about the result of the Brexit referendum. The networking events have been introduced to provide the EACTP's growing membership with regular opportunities to catch up, build contacts and share knowledge and ideas with each other. They are also a great way for members to introduce colleagues to the EACTP and the many benefits of becoming a Certified Turnaround Professional.

TMA UK celebrated 15 years of excellence at the prestigious offices of Fieldfisher, Riverbank House, London, on Tuesday 6th September, overlooking the River Thames, with a guest list consisting of TMA UK Members and Sponsors (past and present). Over 100 attendees enjoyed drinks and canap�s whilst catching up on the past fifteen years and looking forward to the future of this professional association.
TMA UK has grown from strength to strength and has become one of the leading organisations within the Turnaround community. Numerous successful events and conferences have been supported and attended by members and guests from across the UK over the last fifteen years.

TMA Netherlands Board announcement
In the general meeting of members of TMA Netherlands, it was agreed that Mr Pieter Smallegange will strengthen the Board of TMA Netherlands from the 15th September 2016 for a period of 4 years. Pieter is working for financial restructuring & recovery at ABN AMRO. Pieter will succeed Mr Gerben Bos who has been member of the Board for almost 4 years. We thank him for all his hard work!
