EACTP incentive for early applicants

Early applicants to the pioneering European accreditation scheme for turnaround professionals will qualify for a year's free membership.

Anyone who joins the European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals (EACTP) before 30 November this year will be exempt from paying their membership fee for 2013. This would mean a savings of up to £400 for Associate members and up to £450 for Fellow members.

The association offers the first European-wide accreditation programme open to all professionals involved in turnaround management and restructuring, including lawyers, bankers, and accountants.

The programme provides three levels of membership, and offers certification specific to a professional's principal jurisdiction.

It is based on TMA's global CTP accreditation scheme which is already established and recognised in North America, Australasia, and Japan.

Vera Sabeva Rush, the newly-appointed Chief Executive of EACTP, said, "Our ground-breaking programme offers unique benefits to members. The accreditation scheme is truly the first of its kind to be open to all turnaround professionals who will have to meet the strict criteria for accreditation process overseen by a pan-European panel.
