Did you know it's almost time for our 3rd Technology Fair sponsored by our Friends of the Rye Public Library? The date this year is this coming Saturday, March 21st from 10 AM - 2 PM. You won't want to miss this one as there will be some really nice raffle items!

How do you know when a website is legit, especially one you want to use for purchasing something? First make sure the page that actually asks you to enter sensitive banking information contains a "https" at the top. The S means it's an encrypted secured connection. Second, go to a site, such as ScamAdvisor, and paste in the webpage in question. Scam Advisor will tell you if the page is safe or sketchy. Want to learn more tips & tricks about computer security? Keep any eye out for my Security class that will be offered again during my summer sessions.
