Dear (Contact First Name),

Our next session of Drawing Together will be May 28, 2013,
9:00 am (note time change) in the Downstairs Meeting Room of the Rye Public Library.

We will be exploring shape and line.  Claire will bring our scketching prompts.  We will be creating an abstract composition.

Contour drawing of a watering can and branches

The sketching prompt decided on by the group is:
Drawing an item from your home that has special meaning.  A family hierloom a piece of furniture.  If you have several items try overlapping.
The group decided to use the contour drawing maethod of sketching for the homework assignment.  We look at the the prompt and our eye tells our hand what it sees and what to draw.
 There's still time to sketch

We will share our sketching experiences at the beginning of our session.
