"I search for realness, the real feeling of a subject, all the texture around it... I always want to see the third dimension of something.. I want to come alive with the object". Andrew Wyeth
Dear (Contact First Name),
Our next session of Drawing Together will be May 21, 2013,
9:00 am (note time change) in the Downstairs Meeting Room of the Rye Public Library.
Bring items that demonstrate texture to sketch What is texture: Texture describes the tactile quality of a form. Adding texture will often add a realistic quality to our drawings
The sketching prompt decided on by the group is:
Drawing branches . Now is the time to draw apple blossoms, lilac branches cherry blossoms or whatever budding branches you see emerging
There's still time to sketch
We will share our sketching experiences at the beginning of our session.
