Greetings!
Hi, Drawing Together enthusiasts! Your response to this Rye Library offering has been amazing. We now have a drop-in format, to make sure everyone who wants to come can, due to the demand!
Last week, hand-outs on One point perspective were handed out, and after our standing warm-up and a structured warm-up, we adjourned to the beautiful fall day outside and tried our hand (and eyes) at seeing and interpreting perspective on our sketchbook pages. Everyone did very well, and things were revealed to us that we hadn't seen before. I will have extra copies of the hand-out on One Point Perspective, but see the Video below, and you may not need one!The weather may not be so cooperative again, so I would like to ask you all to bring one object that you would like to draw, to the next session. It MAY be of an Autumn or Harvest theme, but does not HAVE to be. We will draw them individually and then combine them to make a still life.
I have included some articles of interest below. Enjoy!
