English Conversation Program - Application available!
The Office of International Affairs' English Conversation Program (ECP) is a fun way to connect Ohio State students from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Each semester, groups of five will meet six times to participate in discussions and fun events and activities on campus and around Columbus.

Being part of ECP will open world views, help students increase their Global English proficiency, give participants a chance to make new friends and develop better public and impromptu speaking skills.

As part of the program, we are also looking for ECP facilitators, who will be in charge of reaching and organizing their respective group meetings and leading the conversations. Facilitators will also have the opportunity to attend leadership and teaching workshops. Those interested in becoming a facilitator indicate so on the application.

The application is available now through September 30 at 1 p.m.
Global Buckeye Book Club
Our Global Buckeye Book Club is for both international and domestic students who will meet bi-weekly to discuss and analyze the Buckeye Book Community's selection, "The Other Wes Moore," by Wes Moore.

This program is designed to look at the book with a global perspective and foster international student language development, and it will be facilitated by a language instructor who will help guide students to key idiomatic expressions and vocabulary.

Additionally, this book club is a great way to earn sessions for your survey classes in the First Year Experience Success Series.
